| 1. How much does a virtual memorial cost? |
| The cost of a basic standard memorial is a one-time fee of
$10. This payment is to help offset the cost of maintaining the site for generations to come.

| 2. How long does it take to make a memorial? |
| A memorial can take a little as a few minutes to a few hours to
create. The hard part is deciding on the text to write on the
memorial. After you type what you want the memorial to say, the rest
of the process takes only a few minutes. |
| 3. After I create a memorial, how long will it stay
online? |
| The memorial will stay online until you say otherwise. If
you decided to leave it up forever, it will remain online and viewable forever*. |
| 4. Is there a yearly, monthly, or any other extra fees
to pay? |
| None at all. We include everything into our low one-time
payment. |
| 5. Can I edit a memorial after I've created it? |
| Absolutely. Just log into your account and click to edit
the memorial. You can change the text, background, images, and any
other features of the memorial. These changes can be made at any time
and take place immediately on the website. Also, there is no limit to
the number of times you can edit a memorial, and there is no charge! |
| 6. How do I get pictures on the memorial? |
| If you don't already have digital copies of the images on your
computer, you'll need to scan the pictures. If you don't have a
scanner, you can go to a local print shop such as Kinko's and they'll scan
them to a disc for you. Please scan images at 72dpi and in .jpg
format. |
| 7. I don't have a credit card, can I pay any other way? |
| While we don't generally like this, we do accept money orders.
No personal checks or cash will be accepted. Please note that your
memorial will not be activated until payment is received. Email us for
our payment address. |
| 8. Can guests post messages on the memorial? |
| Yes, they certainly can. In fact, we encourage all visitors
to all memorials to leave messages. We are an online community and
would like to continually build relationships within our community. |
| 9. I lost my password, can I still log in? |
| Yes. Just go to the login page and
fill in the form at the bottom that says "lost password?". Your
password will be sent to the email address you signed up with. |
| 10. Is paying with my credit card online safe? |
| Yes. Our payment system uses PayPal. The PayPal
service is widely trusted and used by millions of people every day.
All information uses 128 bit encryption and no credit card data is stored. |
| 11. Can I delete a memorial that I've created? |
| If you feel that the memorial has been online long enough and
wish to take it down, you can simply log into your account and click the
trash can icon for the memorial. If you delete a memorial, it cannot
be retrieved. |
| 12. I'm having troubles viewing the site. Things
aren't working. |
| Our site was designed to be compatible with Microsoft Internet
Explorer and Netscape Navigator. We've also tested it on linux
machines running Mozilla and Konqueror and it displays correctly. Make
sure that you have javascript enabled, as our site relies heavily on the use
of javascript. |
| 13. How do your prices compare with other memorial
sites? |
| We not only feel that our prices are more reasonable, but that
our product is superior to the other existing memorial sites out there.
Some sites offer "free memorials", but they charge you a yearly fee to keep
the memorial online. We have no such trickery. Other sites
charge as much as $595 for a product that can take days to become viewable,
and you must pay to make changes. We have no recurring fees, just a
one time payment (which is lower than nearly all the other sites). We
feel that we've designed the best quality for you money. |
| 14. Do I need to know how to program
websites to make a memorial? |
| No. We have designed the memorials such that all you need
to do is type in the information and the memorial is automatically created
for you! |
